If I Were President

If i were president…

… I will abolish redundant government units.
… I will put a stop to political dynasties and make sure that it won’t ever plague the edges of the country’s government.
… I will make sure that my cabinet members are intelligent thinkers, efficient decision-makers, and bold leaders.
… I will prioritize the eradication of corruption. But more importantly, I will pluck out the nouns that bring forth the verbs. Without individuals doing corrupt acts for their personal gain, corruption will be a thing of our horrific past.

Inspired by this Inquirer blog, I came up with my own version. It’s not much, but these are the only ones I can think of at the moment.

When I’m at the office, Inquirer is the first website I visit. So don’t be too surprised if you find that most of my posts are/will be inspired by articles I read there.

An Amazing Dream

I am an avid Amazing Race/Asia fan. I’ve always wanted to join the race but I’ve never had the guts to really go for it. But this time around, I found a friend who is as enthusiastic and eager as me to go try out for this competition.

Our chances of getting through the application process is very, very slim. I mean, previous Pinoy representatives were Marc and Rovilson and Geoff and Tisha. Darn. Do you really have to be that good looking to get in? Still, what do we have to lose, right?
